About John

Meet John Bowden, a seasoned REALTOR® & Associate Broker with a fervent dedication to the Atlanta real estate market. Since 2007, John has poured his passion and expertise into the industry, becoming a trusted advisor for clients seeking both residential and investment properties. His commitment to ensuring client satisfaction is unwavering, starting with a thorough understanding of their needs and desires, and culminating in tailored, exceptional experiences.

John’s journey in real estate began in high school, starting as an office assistant at a local brokerage in Forsyth, GA and working his way up to being the managing broker’s assistant. He earned his real estate license his sophomore year of college, served as the lead buyer’s agent for a top-producing team in Athens, GA and later earned dual degrees in Real Estate and Business Management from the University of Georgia in 2013 before moving to Atlanta to launch his own brand, John Bowden Homes, in 2014. He earned his Broker’s license in 2016 and elevated his presence in the luxury market by joining Harry Norman REALTORS® in 2018. In 2024, he moved onto the firm’s leadership team as a Senior Vice-President and the Managing Broker of the Intown office. 

John is a native Georgian and has loved calling Atlanta home because of its dynamic culture and lifestyle. When not immersed in real estate, he can be found exploring the city's diverse offerings, spending time on the Beltline with his dog, Mason, or exploring up-and-coming neighborhoods around the city. He currently serves as President of the UGA Young Alumni Leadership Council, Chair of the Young Professionals for Piedmont Park and supports charities that focus on homelessness, AIDs prevention, and food insecurity.
