About Katie

Atlanta has been our family’s home for 25 years.  Like so many adopted Atlantans, Doug and I moved here with our two sons for a corporate move from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.  Our boys attended school in Brookhaven, and both graduated from Marist School. We absolutely fell in love with the metro Atlanta area and everything it offers in terms of cultural arts, outdoor lifestyle, professional sports venues, and lush, beautiful neighborhoods.  Plus, the world-class airport and proximity to the mountains and east coast beaches make for easy and fun getaways.

With a corporate banking and mortgage background, residential real estate was the perfect match for my skill set, and Harry Norman offered the premier, Atlanta brand I desired to establish my business over 20 years ago.  Doug was offered another corporate move outside of Atlanta, but why leave the perfect place for us to call home?  He joined me in 2013 to form Belew Realty Group, a top producing team with a focus on concierge service for our buyers and listing clients.  He has over 33 years of IT management experience gained from his time with Accenture and United Healthcare.

Our work enables us to share what we love most about our city and surrounding communities.  We understand the challenges of moving a family to a new area.  From commute time to school selection, it all factors into the equation of finding the right home and neighborhood.  On the listing side, our experience is critical to achieving the maximum price while managing the marketing cycle to align with our clients’ timing objectives.

It is truly a privilege to help our clients navigate the life-changing process of buying or selling their personal homes.  We have completed 100’s of transactions and bring that expertise to the table.  But we are every mindful of the unique nature of each one and the impact it can have on our clients.
